Ease of use and simple operation are often important in a home, while in a business environment logging, management, continuity and scalability can also be taken into account.

For reliable operation, installation, configuration and periodic checks must be viewed as a whole. A technically good product can still perform inadequately if it is installed incorrectly, is not properly maintained or is not connected correctly.
